Wow has it been a hot summer! Of course I say that every summer because fall is my favorite time of year :) I have some painted papers for you again this time. Yes I am addicted to painting papers at the moment. I hope you enjoy these. I tried to represent how life is here in my town. If you turn right out of the neighborhood you go to the beautiful Okefenokee Swamp, if you turn left you go to the lovely beaches of Florida. Be sure to check back if someone hasn't posted yet. We are a global train and time zones vary.
Sue's Beautiful Reflection's has chosen a perfect theme and palette for this month as we are entering the Dog Days of Summer here in Georgia. Our twist this month was to have a dog in our kit. As you will see when you follow the train there are all kinds of pups for you to enjoy! My little guy is hanging out in the local hammock trying to keep cool. Don't forget to stop by the STBT Blog and Fan Page on Facebook for the freebies there. They will only be available for 30 days.
This month I almost skipped all the blog trains. I enjoy doing them, every month is a new theme and they vary greatly from train to train sometimes. However this month while other people were having a wonderful fun filled July 4th holiday we unfortunately lost 4 members of our family in a tragic plane crash. 2 adults and 2 children. My daughter in laws Mother, her mother's husband, and my daughter in laws 10 yr old niece and nephew.
I didn't have the desire to anything cutesy or fun in the sun so I was all set to skip this month's trains. Until I saw it was pick your own theme. So here is mine. I call them memories of you because I was having fond memories of Mary Jo and Lee and those 2 children when I made these.
